Regelmatig rijden er auto’s in opdracht van de Emmaus Friesland naar Roemenië. Soms is het onze eigen auto. Maar ook vaak gaan er auto’s van een transportonderneming met een verscheidenheid aan goederen naar dorpen, kerken en of scholen in Roemenië. Emmaus streeft er naar om gemiddeld 15-18 keer per jaar een transport naar Roemenië te sturen.

Onderstaand  een collage van foto met een begeleidend schrijven van een dominee in een van de dorpen die een auto met goederen krijgt.

Deze rit is daar net voor de afgelopen kerstdagen aangekomen.  Het gaf hun een beetje meer het kerstgevoel!

Dear Anton and Mariska,

Escuse me, I didn’t write, but I came home today, and there in Fekete and in Capusu I have no contact with internet.

The truck gained to Capusu at 23th December. People waited it and had offload the packets.

The new, that is a trailer truck before the hungarian church current in the village and people help us.

I wrote a list with hungarian and reformed people, what they need. In Capus live only 15 hungarian families,

in two of them live 7 or 6 children, they are shepperd.

A part of furniture I gave them, the chairs remained for church in place of bench, I transported a part of furniture in Fekete in parish,

and a lot succed to vend.

The clothes I gave for hungarian people and the other part I vend.

In the packets I got hospital necessity, and those I present with bed, matress and glasses to home of elderly.

In Capusu I preach and visited the home of elderly, there stay young people too with mental or physical handicap, so there is a complex institute, and hospital necessity I gave.

In the church we have clothes, lampes too and many thing, I think next week we vend all.

I’m very happy because the church got a lot of money. Except that we gave a lot of things to poor men I done 40 million lei egual with 1000 euros. And I hope I’ll for 300 euros too.

From this sum I meked and paid the water -course and in the other part of sum I will render inside the churh. I will put in bank the money.

In Christmas time with children I visited the older people with a little fruit packet purchased from “holland truck” money and for children too.

And You! How to spend your Christmas time? Children? We prid for your family in the chuch.
